Summary:

En Pointe Technologies is currently looking for a Microsoft Lync Architect to contribute to the growth of our Professional Services Organization. En Pointe Architects focus on the leading technologies and key players within the industry.

We provide fulfillment services for I.T. hardware, software licensing, and offer a comprehensive portfolio of services. Working hand in hand with hundreds of manufacturers including partnerships with Microsoft, HP, Cisco, Symantec, VMware, Dell and LANDesk; En Pointe’s marketing efforts reach far and wide to bring national awareness of our business and that of our manufacturer partners.

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for delivering Microsoft Lync to enterprise customers
  • Act as a resource for on-going Lync planning and deployment
  • Provide Lync training for customers 
  • Experience assisting in a Pre-Sales capacity to accomplish the following: project definition, scoping/sizing, analysis of technical alternatives, and the presentations and/or proposal of results preferred
  • Diagnose operational problems by using a variety of hardware/software troubleshooting techniques

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft’s UC solutions - Lync, Lync Server, Mobility, and UC Services
  • Extensive experience with Lync, 3+ years’ experience preferred
  • Experience implementing and deploying Exchange and Lync (including 2013) preferred
  • Experience with Lync Voice and Video
  • Experience with Enterprise Voice
  • Must have deep technical expertise in Exchange
  • Server 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013Microsoft Office 365 preferred
  • Active Directory (architecture, design, disaster recovery and troubleshooting)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
  • Develop solutions and implement migrations for new Lync environments
  • Practical experience troubleshooting Lync performance problems
  • Ability to resolve technical issues and communicate effectively with customers to meet their expectations
  • MCSE: Communications or MCITP: Lync 2010 + Voice
